Pulled the trigger on an SB heavy 10

Not sure how old it is, but it seems to be in really good shape. The catalog number on it is CL4040. Price came in at 900. Excited to get it home and turning. Serial number is 13778RKL16. Not a lot of tooling with, a few draw bars misc. collets. Gears were immaculate, ways in really nice shape. Been looking for one for over a year now and couldn't pass this one up

Looks like 1963 model, with underdrive motor, couldn't find that catalog number.

'Can't imagine "pulling the trigger" on an ancient but capable machine. perhaps it is just the perception. Had you been considering the purchase for a long time? I'm somewhat spontaneous. but when a purchase opportunity that I have considered for some time presents it's self, I act.

But would only "pull the trigger", on something new and perhaps pricey.

Yeah husker, that made me a little hesitant. But everything else was in good order, save the lack of tooling. I'm impressed how quiet it is.

While it didn't come with much tooling. It did come with a Holdridge manufacturing radii cutter 8D! It's huge and heavy.
