I'm going to change out my spindle. But before I pull out the old one I'm wanting to have ALL the replaceable parts replaced or ready to go back in. I have the take up nut, needle bearing replacement for the washer, thrust bearing, pulley cone, bull gear. My Question; On this Lathe made in 1935 or 36 . It's a top oiler ,and there appear to be some felt washer/gaskets just inside the outer edge of the bearing casing around the spindle ,in a groove . This would be to help retain oil in the bearings I assume. I have searched and have not found or seen these washer/gaskets spoken of or made available for sale in any rebuild kit. Any info on this would be appreciated.
