Question for the South Bend Experts

No they are not.

In the future, please title the thread with a summary of your question, such as "Are South Bend Cross Slides Hardened?"

Many would think At 65 posts you would knot that.. It saves a lit of waste of time and having a "reference to search".. So if another would like to know the answer to the same question

The question should be up front.

Guess the owner of the site could add "Try to make post title relative to the question"
Most of us have used search and know how important it is when trying to search.
A search of "Is the SB cross slide hardened" is a good question but with not a proper title nobody would know where to search.

If you go to the search feature there is a drop down menu where you are able to select searching titles only or searching entire posts.

This way it looks for the same key words in the thread and not just the title.

Just out of curiosity where is it a written rule for all to see prior to posting? I honestly looked around and all I found was:

http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/misc.php?do=showrules which doesn't mention it.

Thanks.

Milacron frequently locks posts in forums that he is moderator of: "Closed due to meaningless topic title". He usually doesn't frequent the South Bend forum...
