You can add this lathe to your list:
CL 8187 ZB, S/N 21621 R, 3 1/2 bed length.
I bought it from Northwestern University as it was an extra piece of equipment. It had been donated to the school but had never been set up.

Ken, is that the correct serial number? if yes it might be a prototype lathe or a school donation lathe with a special number, pictures please,
Heavy ten short Tool room lathe I believe.

Steve, I was looking feverishly over all the pieces of my lathe and I found a # on the face plate. Could it be possible that is the serial # I have been looking for, I sure hope so.
The number is 102125 and that is a 1940 serial number.
I just emailed Leblond that # for the history I am anxiously waiting, hoping the numbers jive with my lathe.

Mr. Swells, I saw an ad in the paper for a lathe and milling machine, $1000 for both. I went and looked, couldn't resist. The lathe is a South Bend # 35901N. 8 foot bed, High mounted head and tailstock, running condition tooling, faceplates and other pieces scattered everywhere in the shop. I thought you might want to add this to your list. Thanks. By the way the mill was a cincinati. Both are still available.

John, Was this info confirmed by Leblond?
Also there is a casting date on the older lathes, inside the rear wall of the bed, towards the left side. If you look in the serial number list, My 1922 is the next number before yours. I also have a 1923 listed now that I thought was a 1924, it's an 82X stubby overhead silent chain drive.
Rapid Tap, yes it is, a 1964 I believe.
Joe, I think that is the only 1932 number I have posted.
