This week the power feed on my 450 stop working . The feed screw turns but does not transfer power to the apron. Anyone have an idea as what may be the problem?

Have you pulled the apron and looked at the half nuts? It's likely they're worn out.

No I haven't taken the apron apart. I'm trying to get an ideas as to how major of project this is before I take the machine out of service.

Did it quit working suddenly, or a little at a time?
There is a feed clutch adjustment on the front of the apron.

Stopped woking suddenly. I didn't here any unsual nosie before it stopped feeding. Can you give me more info on clutch?

Is this one of the Korean made SB gear head lathes with the gap bed? Might have a sacrificial shear pin in the train somewhere.

I haven't had one apart before, but I know there is a socket screw on the front of the apron that is used to adjust the clutch. Your problem sounds like it needs more than an adjustment.

SBLatheman I tried to adjusting the set screw next to Y axis handle, there seemed to be no noticeable adjustment.
