Hi guys! I'm new to this site and posted elsewhere but was told posting in the South Bend group may be more helpful. I recently acquired a South Bend 9 and was told its a model C but have yet to find one on the net like this one with the under drive V belt. It has a four foot bed, taper attachment, I do have the thread dial(took off to clean), and was told the wood cabinet is original. with serial 66669 I figure it to be dated 1936 (bed casted 1935). I have all the change gears and steady rest as well. My question is, is this thing a rare breed or just unique?
