it looks like u got it running but i use the rotary phase converter i use a 10hp to run my mill and the same lathe u have there. thy r very easy to make to run your lathe all u nd is a 3 phase motor 160% bigger then the lathe. u have a 3hp so u nd a 5hp 3 phase. if u nd a wire dia. i can send it the whole build will only cost about 200 dollars to do but not to me. i dont sell parts i would rather tell u how to build it so u can do it. on a different note could u mail me a pic of your banjo gear set plz. hbradley123@hotmail.com also VFDs can over heat 3 phase motors
