I found this today in a old South Bend Lathe Works, Easy Payment Plan book. I'll take one 9"- 322-R at that price.View attachment 129058
Yeah, but notice that's in 1929, which is right at the depression. I bet that wasn't such a grand price back then for most people...
I noted that the order did not include a 3 jaw lathe chuck.
That was in March just before the October crash. Still was a lot of money back then.
In todays dollars that would be $4876.00. Would anyone buy one today at that price?................Bob
