    Anyone have some springs and/or F3 or F5 felt cord - 3/8" diameter for spindle wick oilers?

    Hey Rod, Do you have a tool pot grinder? You could grind the #3 morse hole. My Lathe's tail stock was buggered and to hard to ream. I ended up grinding it. :-)

    That's the first thing I made when I got my lathe.
    I turned it between centres adjusted by eye.
    I made it as long as would fit, turned all but an inch on each end down 1/16 inch, trued up one end, swapped ends and trued the other to the same diameter.

    Maybe a system like Ebay has where you can rate the person who you loan the tool to. If they returned it in good shape, returned it promptly etc.
