Star Knob Clutch_Lever Cam conversion

I have a 16” South Bend with a Star Knob clutch; I would like to convert to a Lever Cam type. The attached site shows the conversion originally sold by South Bend. Does anyone have a more current plan on how to do this?

I would like to know what other SB drawings are available and how to get to them.

That particular drawing is out of the SB manual. There are quite a few assembly drawings in there. You can buy a manual from Leblond. Just have your serial number handy. They are a little pricey, maybe $40 or so, but well worth it if you plan on doing any work on your lathe.

i have a parts manual for the 16. i'll take a look
tomorrow , and i'll see if there's anything more in
it than what's currently posted .i know it has
info on the conversion ...how to change over,
how to adjust the new clutch's action ,etc..
