    Default Taper attachments.

There is a seller on Ebay offering plans & a cd for building a taper attachment. This is item #160382569516. Has anyone tried building this or something similar? This caught my eye because of the cost of used SB stuff.
    Thanks for any info. Ed

I have plans for a FREE taper attachment in my SB10K yahoo group. And i built my own just not like some others. The only thing i do different is remove the complete cross slide screw. 2 minute job...Bob

Those plans were on the internet somewhere (I forgot where) and I have a copy which I could email to you and have almost completed building 2 but haven't mounted to a lathe as now I have a taper attachment for 1 so don't know when I'll get the time to finish, but I don't have anything documenting my build. Matter of fact I'm not sure where I layed the parts. I will say that the SB taper att. is 5 times heavier built and you'd probably be served better to just purchase one if you need to do some serious tapering.
