I am new here but I have been reading many threads relating to my machine.
I have a 9" Workshop circa 1936 as best as I can tell.
I may be mistaken but I think I read something about people not being happy with the search function on the site and someone suggested using Google Site search.
I was thinking about that tonight and remembered something from another board.
It's easier than messing about with Google's advanced search functions.
So I created a "Custom Search" using Google.
The search is specific to this subforum on South-bend-lathes.
If you happen to be having difficulty finding what you are looking for using the site search engine you might try this
Google Custom Search
Just copy and paste into the address line of your browser and it should get you there.
If it does not work feel free to send me a hate filled personal message. I am not sure it works.
If it DOES work and makes your life better in some way then I am very happy.
And of course the next step is bookmarking the link for future searches.
Hopefully I am not breaking any rules here.
