SBL 14 1/2" or 16"

I am in the market for a 14 1/2" or 16" southe bend lathe. I know some were made with D1-6 spindles. I need information on bore size and spindle mount to evaluate what I find. I need a lathe that is 48" between center minimum also has a taper attachment. Which type of bearings do these machines have? Which models have "flame hardened" ways. I have a lot of D1-6 chucks and wish they would fit my new purchase.

The 14 1/2" and the 16" with a cam-loc spindle would not have a D1-6. Sorry.
They have a D1-4 or, awhile back, they had a D1-3.
If you can live with a D1-4, you will need at least a 7 foot bed(8 would be better).
If you need the D1-6, you will have to get one of their imports(not a bad thing)
