All,
I'm putting together a rebuild kit for my 14.5" SBL, something that is not too common on the market. I have the book "A Guide to Renovating the South Bend Lathe, Models....." which references wicks, wipers, and capillary oilers with "Type" designations, e.g. Type 1, Type 2, Type 3. When searching for felt material I run across "SAE F-" designations, e.g. SAE F-1, SAE F-3. Does anyone know how to cross reference these two designations? Thank you.
John
