WTB sb 13” model 34-O reverse handle assy

The model 34 is quite old- all the parts mentioned so far are for much newer lathes. They might interchange, but I doubt it. What is your serial number?

Cast iron can be repaired by brazing and the repair will be permanent. If you have all the broken parts seek out a 'Fab' shop that does
welding and fabrication. Brazing failure is related to not enough heat applied (red heat is the top end), insufficient flux, or poor preparation of the surfaces.

I will second on the brazing. With plenty of heat and good flow of brass. Cast iron brazed properly rarly breaks.

Looks like this part can be made from a piece of flat steel stock as the body and a piece of round stock as the handle. The two sides of the body are parallel. The holes must be accurate. The slot for the hold down will be a bunch of work, unless you have a mill. The thickness can be turned on a face plate. It wont be as graceful as the casting, but you will be able to run power feed and cut threads.
