Default 40 taper tool holders

I did some more cleaning and "unearthed" a batch of 40 taper tooling holders of various kinds. There is a shell mill will inserts, some end mill holders, etc.

The shell mill holder with tool is $45 and everything else is $25 each. There are 11 in total. I would sell the entire lot for $225.

I believe most are Lyndex Brand. I will attach a crappy pic below.

Here is a crumby pic as they sit in the original box when they came out of auction. I will try to actually sort through these tomorrow and list exactly what each is.

Some have retention knobs for quick change tooling applications but not all.

Here is what I found as far as specs are concerned. There are Lyndex, Collis, Techleader, and Universal. I also found some more and will try to attach a pic but did not pull them out as they were too dirty and I am in church clothes!

3/8" end mill holder
5/8" end mill holder
3/4" end mill holder (2) of these
7/8" end mill holder
1" end mill holder (3) of these
4MT adapter (2) of these
shell mill holder with shell mill and carbide inserts (may need new inserts)

As you may be able to discern from the crappy pic of the older ones, there is an arbor which I believe is 1.25.

Interested in the ones in the second pic, as I can use NMTB easier than CAT. I assume they're all 40 taper?

When you get a chance, hit me with a list of what's there and a price.

Thanks.
Doc.

Okay, after MUCH frustration and some research, these ARE in fact 40 taper tool holders.....ALL of them. The Cat 40 have a 5/8-11 drawbar thread and the NMTB 30 have a 1/2-13 drawbar thread.

Same price as listed above or everything (EXCEPT stub arbor NMTB piece) for $325

They can't be 40 taper and NMTB 30.

Are the ones in the third photo 30 taper or 40? And if they're 40, what sizes are they? (As in what size shanks do they hold.) And is that just shop-smut and dust or are they as rusty as they look?

Doc.

According to MH, they are ALL 40 taper. NMTB in the box. As for "shop smut", yes....They are dusty and dirty as they have been on a tool rack full of other tooling for awhile.

I am going to the shop tomorrow evening and will actually pull them out and give them a quick cleaning.

I will get back with actual sizes too

Docs,
The sizes are the following:

3/8"
5/8"
3/4"
13/16"

I think that is what I had written down. If it turns out you or anyone is truly interested, I will make 100% sure.

Here are a couple pics of everything laid out. I will sell them all for $300 firm. I am trying to clean everything out that is extra and these will end up back on the shelf if they don't move. If they don't sell here, they go on fleabay.
