Aloris BXA-7 wanted

Better yet, be on the lookout for a BXA-71. Much better design of you are holding carbide insert cutoff blades.

Also available from Dorian, you can get one that will take the more common 26mm/1" blades, their D30BXA-7-71-26.

They look like this, though mine are the D40CA size:

Any reason you wouldn't want to try a Dorian version? Made in USA and pretty good quality.

No objection to Dorian or Armstrong at all....have and use some of both. Like them just fine. Just need cut-off holder with enough real estate on the top surface to mount an indicator holder, that I had made for the old squared off style Aloris cut off

Machining teflon, HSS holder with built in back rake works just fine....but then again, I've not investigated inserts for PTFE.
