I have three Taylor Hobson surface roughness analyizers. The two in wood boxes are model Surtronic 3P, the one in the plastic case is a Surtronic 3+. The 3+ has instructions, the 3P do not. All three calibrate up properly to their included reference specimen. They all seem to function properly and give appropriate readings. All run off a 9V battery. They are complete and ready to use after you attach the probe.
The (3P) wood box unit with the AC adapter sounds a little rough on the return stroke. I would like $80.
The other (3P) wood box unit I would like $100.
The 3+ plastic case has an extra probe. I would like $150. for it.
All prices are plus shipping.
