Thread: Lathe Drive Dogs

I have a number of lathe drive dogs (probably 15-20). Size ranges from 1" - ~ 3" diameter. Most are dogleg, some are straight. All are quality forged steel (most are Williams or other USA brands, all look to be vintage and have surface rust).

I am thinking $5 each with shipping in flat rate box (I can fit A LOT in a flat rate). Is there interest? If so I'll take pictures and give more firm measurements.

I'd like to have a few of them. I have larger ones, but not small ones like that. Put me down for about 5.

I'd like 5, too. Variety of sizes, all dog leg if you can. How to pay?

So yah, I'm gonna reply to you all once I take stock of what I've got. Please don't be surprised if you don't hear from me until the weekend. I work overnights and have trouble getting things done during the day. I will respond to everyone by Saturday...if you get payment to me by Sunday evening, I'll ship everything on Monday.

Found a total of 35 of them so I should be able to fullfill all orders thus far. I will inventory and photograph them on Saturday.

Looks like I have people interested in around 27 of them...

I've honestly probably got more as well.

If there are enough I would like 2 sets of 1",2",3" one straight, one dog-leg.
Anything close to that assortment would be fine.

34 & 33 are sets of grinding dogs. Both are $25 or best offer each.

34 is somewhat interesting as it has a spring leg.

All other items (other than 33 & 34) are still $5 each.

#18 is the only one that is questionable, I posted an extra picture.

All others may have been modified some. See picture.

Since it took me so long to post pictures here's how it works.

During the first 24 hours, anybody can "claim" an item. During that first 24 hours, those people that previously showed interest can "steal" your claim...meaning if they want to buy it out from under you, they can. It's like white elephant gifts with money and drive dogs.

After 24 hours, it's anybody's game.
