Thread: machinist project

Hello,
I've got a bunch of disc spacers that might make a good machinist oversize jack. A project for one of those cold nights. The size is approximately, 6 1/2" tall, one flared end is 4", the other is 4 1/2", the barrel is 2 1/4" and there is a square hole in the center thats 1 1/4". These sizes are approximate, some are little different, but most are this size. Some have a few wear grooves in the barrel, but they should work fine. A few also have lip/groove about a 1/2" above the flare, which you could turn off or leave on, I'll leave that up to you. These are more for the larger machines. You could cut these in half for 2 jacks or machine one to what ever length you want.
I'll leave the price up to you guys. I just picked them up for scrap, so they aren't worth much. I'd also need some for shipping, but we can figure that out later,(I don't charge for handling or any of that kind of stuff). Here is a picture.

If nobody wants these, I'll take them to the scrap yard in a week or two!
