Default South Bend lathe parts for sale

I'm thinning out my collection of machines and parts and I have numerous South Bend items that I would like to sell.

I have a complete riser set to convert the 16" South Bend to a 24" swing. It includes the riser castings for the headstock, compound, and tailstock. It also includes the tailstock base with the dowel pin to lock it to the riser. Other parts included are the long headstock mounting bolts and nuts, the sheet metal blockoff plates that go between the headstock and bed, the tall top gear cover (not pictured) and the dual bed clamps for the tailstock (not pictured). A photo of the castings and some other components are shown below. I do have additional photos that I can email.
The price is $400 for everything listed above.

In addition to the parts listed above, I also have the motor cradle that includes the extra gear reduction that was an option on some of the factory 16/24 installations. The price for the motor cradle / pulley is $50.

I also have a good condition 16" tailstock. This is the complete tailstock assembly without the base. It is a bit dirty from sitting on the shelf, and it could use some paint, but it is in good mechanical condition. The spindle moves smoothly, and I cannot feel any play between the spindle and casting. The live center shown in the photo is included. Price is $125.

Lastly, I have an original South Bend 5C handwheel collet closer assembly and the nose peice for a 10L (heavy 10). It was removed from a heavy 10 with a D1-4 spindle. Price is $125.

If you have any questions, please PM me or email me at bmincemoyer@verizon.net

BTM, would you sell the handwheel off your tailstock? I need a 5" 4-spoke for my '29 11x60. Bill
