    Default unknown chuck jaws/free

Found a nice set of outside jaws, Practically new, But won't fit anything I own. They have an intertwined pair of alligators in the shape of a letter S.stamped on the jaws
I looked up the logo for Gator chucks, but that shows a Gator crawling out of the bore of a chuck.
They're .562 wide,1.495 high, from bottom of threads to the topmost surface.
Grooves are .218 high, and web between grooves,is .279, length of jaw is 1.690 .
I would guess these are off of a 4"chuck.

Probably for a Skinner chuck, sounds like their logo.

    Dave,
They measure as a dead ringer for my Skinner 5". I'd like them. Will send PM.

Way to go! Glen, Googled a Skinner Logo, and you nailed it. It's hard for me to believe these are from such a vintage chuck, The #'s on the jaws are pretty low [134] , and they look like they've never been used.
I had to use a 10x eye loop to make out the Logo.
Jaws are going to Jim S, DAVE [ACME THREAD]
