Volstro adjustable angle milling head with collets in new condition for sale. Used maybe twice on a Bridgeport. Can't remember how much I paid for it over 20 years ago, but I'll let it go for $250 plus shipping.

Does it use the common ER-16 collets, or the harder, more expensive E-16 collets? Er-16 collets have a groove around the shorter end.
How many collets do you have with it, and what size are they?

Original price from Volstro would have been staggering compared to todays prices on ebay. CNC pretty much put them out of business, but parts are still available from a company that bought the rights.

Might want to mention if you have this little part or not, since it, like the E-16 collets are no longer available from the manufacturer. (Even when it was still Volstro)E-16 were used elsewhere so are still floating around, but this little jewel is hard to find, and harder to make.
Some units didn't use it, but if it has a splined shaft, you probably need one.

I have five collets without the grooves and the splined shaft adapter. I think this is everything that it came with originally.

I have pictures, however, from what I can tell, I cannot upload them to this forum unless I have them stored on a webpage. I can email them, unless someone else has another suggestion.

Here are the pictures of the Volstro Head in question. I have sold similiar heads with less collets, and no spline adapter for more money recently. The collets tend to bring over $20 each, and the spline adapter has never been sold on ebay by itself as far as I can remember. If you want one of these, or have a specific job that could use one, this is probably a pretty good deal.

Sandman, could you post the information on the company that has Volstro parts? I have tried H-V and they had no parts of info for any Volstro products.

H-V is the company that bought the assets of Volstro. They had a guy working there that handled all the Volstro requests. Mention the "V" word, and you got his extension.
If they don't have them, YIKES!
What is it your needing? I have a few parts, a few pieces, and a couple of heads that I have bought over the last couple years.

That will require knowing the quill diameter of your machine. Most standard Bridgeports have a 3.375" quill, but Volstro made these castings in several different shapes and sizes. If this one won't fit, send me a PM with your quill size, and I will check to see what I have. If this one fits, buy it. I don't want to jump into someone else's post and try to sell an identical one. He has a nice set up, and someone will be tickled pink to own it.

The quill diameter is 2.605 in., measured with a dial caliper. Is that the same diameter as a BP?

Your quill is smaller than the 3.375 of a bridgeport, but the good thing is, a bushing for this head is easily made, to allow you to use it.
