Thread: Want To Buy-Horizontal V-Belt Tensioning

During my last move, part of the horizontal V-belt tensioning counter shaft assembly was lost on a 9" South Bend. The parts needed are as follows:
1 ea. AS1960N3 Shaft & Pulley (the original pully was for a flat belt between motor and shaft
2 ea. PT3658R1 Olite Bearings (actually 4 pieces)
1 ea. PT1676NK1 Washer
1 ea. AS735NR1 Collar
1 ea. AS431NK2 Cone Assembly (4 step V-belt type)

Part names and numbers are from the manual on Steve Wells site.

If necessary, I will consider buying the whole assembly in order to get the parts needed.

I check with LeBlond and they quoted a price of around $600 not including the cone assembly.

That is all very jolly but would it not make more sense to tell them size and model of the South Bend?

I'm gonna go out on a *really* long limb here and
make a total stab in the dark, it's a 9" machine.
