I got a collet chuck with a B&S #9 tapered shaft, that holds inexpensive Universal Engineering Z size collets. Works well for me, but limited to 25/32, (tad over 3/4"). Size ZZ goes up to 1"
I also have quite a few B&S #9 tools that fit the spindle and frankly, I prefer the collet chuck over switching tooling with a drawbar.
Wells Index will grind a fresh R8 taper in your spindle for around $250, you R&R. That greatly increases your tooling choices and reduces per part costs.
