Default WTB Acu-Rite scale, dead or alive

I have a machine that had an Acu-Rite scale damaged in shipment. I believe it is a later model scale. It is part number 3852512708, it is 14" long, and needs at least 8" of travel. A dead scale of any length will work as I need part of the reader head. The scale and reader head are good, but the part of the reader head that connects the reader head mount to the actual reader head is broken. The piece I need holds a small diameter wire about 1 1/4" long with about a 3/16 ball on the end. The cord has a 6 pin cannon plug.

Yes, I found one on ebay, but the reader head appears different.

Do you know which model the scale is and the resolution? The scales travel by
the part number is 8 inches. This one may be 5um or .0002. Other choices are
10um-.0005 and 2um-.0001. I have a brand new 10 um mini-scale reader head with armored cable and 6 pin cannon connector available if needed.

Thanks,

Paul

Paul, the reader is a 2 micron. The piece I need is the main part that is screwed to the machine. I have seen one that must be an older version that is silver. The one I need is anodized black. If yours has the black mount, my electrics tested good and I could simply use the mount. As far as model, I don't recall anything other than the name, part and serial numbers on the scale.

The reader head I have is silver. I've never come across a black one.
