I realize this is looking for a needle in a haystack but I thought it was still worth the chance.
I'm looking for the vertical milling attachment Brown & Sharpe sold to go with the "0" and "0Y" milling machines. The illustration from the 1911 catalog is linked below.

My machine was made before this accessory was offered but I am hoping that the dimensions didn't change. The spindle should have a #7 B&S taper. The machine itself has a #9 taper.

    Thanks,
    Joe Puleo

I'd love to see what you have. The only vertical mill I have is a German one, a Steinel - apparently a nice, heavy duty machine but this one is missing all of its power feed mechanism and its calibrated in the metric system. Everything else I have is calibrated in thousandths. The old B&S has its power feed...plus, for the time being, I'd only have one machine. I'd love to find an equally early B&S #1 vertical but they only sem to have made them for a short time around 1912-1918 so that isn't likely soon.

    What does "batw" mean?

    Thanks,
