This was my dad's dental lathe (non-dentists call it a buffer) from his office.

It is a Baldor Model 221. Was used in the office from the early 1960's to the early 1970's and then spent the rest of its life in the shop.

The lathe is two speeds, 2450 and 1725 (switch is center off one side is higher, the other low). Runs smooth. It's 1/6 hp.

There are hoods on both sides. One of the hoods has vacuum and air filtration, as well as a light.

The buffs are held on by a tapered threaded arbor. The arbors are easily removable by spinning the collar with the lever to push them off.

Comes with a huge assortment of buffing wheels and compounds (see pictures).

$200 picked up in/near Fairfield County, CT (I can meet you somewhere in the area).
