I haven't got the time today to personally respond to everyone, but it appear that the following are spoken for:

A, E, F, G, K, J

I will get to everyone tonight or tomorrow.

Steve

If D (Jacobs 20N ball-bearing superchuck 2 Morse taper arbor)is smooth and has jaws in a good condition, I'll take it.

The chuck is smooth thru the entire range.

The jaws have some wear on the inside, but the ends of the jaws are good and they meet well in the center.

Sound good?

I think I've responded to everyone who asked for a chuck.

I used email where that was available and PM where not.

If you don't see something from me, let me know.

Let me know.

Drill chuck I arrived today
Packed in a most professional way!

Typical chuck damage occurs when chuck jaws are extended and the chuck falls and impacts on the end of the jaws.
Then the nut threads break immobilizing the jaws.

Not the case with this chuck. Likely this chuck was spinning in reverse and the sleeve was held tight so the jaws retract. This jammed the jaws and nut.

Now the jaws function as they should. There is wear to the jaws and if there is a problem with run-out or it needs to hold a smaller drill bit I can always install the new jaws and nut.

In the photo note the red line pointing to the filling slot for the ball bearings. This is the old style Super Chuck from Jacobs. It has more ball bearings than the new style and the bearings are larger.

The new style Super Chuck will have the Service Kit #30345 stamped on the nose of the chuck.
The old style chuck does not have the service kit number stamped on the nose. That number is 07432 and usually will have U14N on the box too.

Steve,
Thanks for the chuck!
John

I've got the chuck (#D). The opening mechanism is silky smooth. Will need to recheck if the jaws will hold 3/8" drill.
Unfortunately, the arbor is not MT2, so my plan to use an MT2-to- MT3 sleeve won't work. Let's hope I'll be able to press the damaged MT3 arbor out. :)

Thank you Steve.

Mike
