FS: Collet Set - unsure on the specific size/type

This set of mix-matched collets and holder came to me with another machine. $5 plus a flat rate shipping and its yours. If anyone knows what type that would be great info. I can take some measurements if that would help. The holder is made by Universal Eng. Co. and has a #9 B&S taper to it. as for the collets that go with, they range in length (1.438 - 1.525 inches). The longer ER types are 2.4 inches long.

At least some are rigid double taper collets. They do not spring.

I had several of those collets at one time, a Gorton quick change chuck also. If they go up to 1" diameter they are probably ZZ style collets, if only 3/4" (maybe 5/8") then Z collets.

Then the collet holder is specific to one style only?

John, Exactly, the series ZZ and Z are totally different in overall size. I had a look again at those collets and it sure looks like the Z style collets and chuck so only goes to about 3/4".
