Cleaning shop, not needed.

First is a brand new in box Bison 6 1/4" 4 jaw independent plain back lathe chuck, 7-850-0600, still in the original plastic bag with cosmoline. With key and mounting bolts. Prices on the web are all over the map. Asking $290 shipped.

Second a Chin Yu 6" 4 jaw independent plain back. This is actually an excellent condition tight 4 jaw with no detectable wear on the jaws. I have a 2 1/4"x 8 back plate for it if you need it. Doesn't fit my Logan spindle, too tight. Maybe a SB? Asking $90 shipped with key and mounting bolts.

Last is a Jacobs 6A 0-1/2" Drill chuck in really good condition. Comes with Jacobs key and MT2 arbor. Chuck is "HARTFORD, CONN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Asking $45 shipped.

I'll take the Chin Yu 6" 4 jaw independent plain back, and the Jacobs chuck if still available - sending a PM

P/N lookup sez semi-steel body and rated for 3200 RPM, so I'd like that one if still available.

PM -> email just sent.

Came in a day or so ago. Just opened it last night. All in great shape, as expected.

Cute as a new puppy! I didn't realize Bison had ever even made such short, thin, light, narrow-jaw 4-Jaw chucks.

This one really better suits a light, low HP, Myford or SB hobby lathe than a 3 to 5 HP 10EE or 7+ HP Cazeneuve, so it may now sit in MY "treasure stash" for a while longer... or mebbe go onto the Ellis Dividing head.

Now THERE's a thought..

:)

Thanks & regards,

Bill
