Proceeds go to class building a cnc router.

Ah, OK. Good cause. Spherical warshers and yet-another 4-Way.

D'you suppose if I bury a 4-Way in swarf in the back garden and irrigate with old coolant I mought get one of 'em to grow a lathe under it?

I have a beautiful little Stanley 1/4 H.P. all aluminum router that I want to make a holder for. It would hold the router attached to the spindle so the spindle's up and down motion could be used on the router. Would be nice for inlay work. I have a router speed control unit to regulate the RPM of the router.
Your pictures somewhat resemble what I want to make. But,2 holes. One for spindle and one for the router,as close to the spindle as practical.
