I have brand new 2" 45 degree face mill with ten PVD coated inserts for steels and stainless.
This is one of the new styles with the extra thick insert that is molded on the backside.
So you get 8 cutting edges. This is not an obsolete or legacy cutter.. I can get inserts for it at any time, they are approx. $12 each. I can also get the polished, ground sharp style for aluminum.
It is a thru coolant design with coolant ports jetting the front of each insert. Wiper flats on the inserts for superb finish.
Takes a standard 3/4" pilot arbor.
This an awesome cutter, really excels in 40 taper machines with 10-20 hp.
