Can you say what the height adjusting range is? 8" center height is bigger than I can use, but it looks like it might have a big range?

With the center in its original position: ~8 1/2" to ~6"
With the center turned over, the smallest is ~4 1/2"
The center also swings radially side to side (set over ?)

I had not seen a tailstock like that before. It looks perfect for a job that I do frequently. Just to make sure, while it looks robust in the pictures, this tailstock isn't a light flimsy thing and locks firmly into position side to side correct?

If it works for what I need I'll buy it. Just trying not to make a mistake.

It is very robust. It weighs 46 pounds  and works as it should.
Please send me an email so we can figure out the shipping cost.
Thanks,
Ted
