New Cincinnati #2 TC grinder cross travel lead screw and lead screw nut For sale..
Picked this up years ago for back-up and never put it in my Cinnci. Been down the basement a wood box for 40 years or so.. Think $700 would be fair. 41 3/4 lOA- 3 1/2 to thread with key way- 15 1/2 to Acme tread- 12 1/2 of thread- 5 1/2 to other end thread with key way-3 1/2 to end. Looks like perhaps $20 postage.
Note : don't take your machine apart with not asking a few questions as take down takes knowing-how to do it..You have to loose the lead screw nut set screw from the side of the base. Be sure there is not another set screw there one on top of the other. tap the nut bottom with a brass slug while lifting. there may be more.. I would take off the table top to make it less weight..I will have to think about it for a time.
Yes my #2 has perhaps .020 freeplay but never seemed to bother any thing.
