Taper attachment for S.B. 10K lathe

I'm back! Still trying to find a complete taper attachment for a S.B. 10K lathe. One member has a partial. But by the time I find parts to complete I've decided it would be much better to try to find the whole shooting match. If you have said item, let me know. Thanks in advance.

This may be a dumb question, but have you contacted South Bend Lathe Company? They still have a lot of parts and accessories. Cost nothing to call them.

No I haven't, but I'll give it a try. I assumed if they had something it would of recent manufacture. I.E. "offshore junk". I won't give one thin dime for that crap.

That kind of bias does you no good. Yes, most times a poorer quality item that you might receive is rectifiable. In many cases, the availability and/or much lower cost, is worth the gamble. I did receive once a 4 jaw scroll chuck from Shars, that I had no chance to fix, so I scrapped it immediately, but in my experience that was the exception.
