Looking to see if anyone has a Martin Manufacturing / Stallion type Trunnion Table that are looking to sell before we go and buy one, new. Preferably with an A6 mount, but can adapt if needed.

Looks pretty simple

I dunno, it looks pretty darn simple
to have a local fab shop weld it up and stress relief.

Do the machining in house.

However, I made a dedicated fixture to replace
a similar (very similar) fixture that came
along with a Haas vf-6.
I was able to (had clearance below the centerline)
to fabricate a box section of 1/2" plate in a 6"
deep x 12" wide "U" shape, with a removable top
(had pull down cylinders inside) yours could be welded solid 1" plate.

Very much better torsional (twisting) resistance.

Hi Doug,

No... you are not wrong, nor very far off base... In fact, that was the plan, originally.

This is a matter of time. Period. Plain and simple. Material for job is here, right now. Arrived today. The job would benefit GREATLY from the ability to tilt like this allows. If I had even a week, much less two, I would do similarly to what you are thinking. But I need this here, now. Yesterday even. So, if I can buy one and get going in two or three days, then that is a much better proposition.

So... Anyone have one for sale? :)
