Hey everyone, I'm looking to tool up my lathe that I recently purchased. I am looking for quality tool holders. At the moment I have a Dorian AXA tool post with which I can use up to 5/8" shanked tooling. This is perfectly fine for all the work I will be doing. So here is what I am looking for-
Quality 1/2-5/8" shank turning, parting, lay down threading, 1/2 boring bar and internal threading tooling.
I am also looking for a MT3 Jacobs chuck or a chuck that will fit an AXA holder.
Would also trade my Dorian AXA (SD25) for a BXA of similar quality.
Lastly, I could use a D1-3 3 jaw chuck or 6 jaw set-tru or whatever they are called. A D1-3 faceplate with drilled and tapped holes for a spider.
I'm sure that is more stuff I could use... I am using this lathe for barrel work and thats about it so if you think its something I may need for barrel work, shoot me a message and we'll discuss!
