I know this is a long shot, but cant hurt to ask. What i'm looking for is the controller chip for an Mitutoyo AT2-N linear scale encoder. Thats all i really need but i would imagine that most people dont desolder random chips off boards for no reason so if you have a bad encoder with junk 'everything else' on it that is too expensive to repair but the chip still looks good, let me know how much you want for it. Pretty much as long as the chip doesnt look burnt up or bloated like it just got done with Thanksgiving dinner, as mine does, it should be good to go. They are normally pretty durable and i suspect there is another component on this board that failed first but that chip is the one thing i cant just replace.
