Bodine motor fuse question

I have a Bodine motor mounted to a metal box with the switch, speed control, and fuse receptacle. It takes the 1 1/4 inch long cylindrical glass fuses with metal ends. The motor data plate says it runs on 115 volts ac or dc, .85 amp, 1/25 HP, 5000 rpm, type nse - 11rg. What voltage and amperage fuse should I put in the fuse holder? The (corroded inside) one that came out of it is labeled 250 volt, MDL-1. Is there a table or chart or formula that will tell me also? Thanks.

As subtle as a cockroach crawling across a white carpet. :D

LOL!

Too easy...

Luddite? Since - by count, not HP - I've designed-in more of the Bodine Brother's rather superb fractional HP motors than any other marque - there also exist circuit-breakers, including 'self resetting' ones - for that range.

Not cheap, but those can turn what is already a long-lived motor to begin with [1] into an essentially "wire-and-forget" appliance. Well worth it when the most basic of factory service-calls might involved a long and costly airplane ride.

[1] At one time, their sales pitch was:
Bodine motors DO TOO 'wear out'. They just take longer.
