I am needing to make a electric turner that will turn about 50rpm's that will hold a metal tumbler (coffee cup). I cannot find the right motor. Others are using a chicken rotisserie but I want at least 6 and at $30 each is too pricy for me. Can you pls guide me in the right direction for a electric motor that does around 50 rpm's. I will also need each motor to turn off and on individually.

If you can, edit your thread title because what you've got there may get it locked. In the meantime, what you're looking for is a small
gearmotor. Check out Dayton Products from Grainger; they have a large selection. As to price, you may find something cheaper but
30 bucks doesn't sound too bad to me...

In this case surplus is your best friend. Just google something like

surplus 50rpm gearmotor

and be patient for a bit. You will find some reasonably priced suitable units but it takes time and a bit of patience.

"Like the sign says, speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?"

This is "Practical Machinist" not "cobble up out of junk at the curb".

Also you need to quantify things, you have not divulged a torque
and/or horsepower needed.

Nor what you consider an acceptable price.
