Just bought a 2013-V Do All bandsaw complete with a blade welder. looks like two legs from the three phase power operate the welder. I have on order a TECO VFD but not enough amperage to power the welder.
Is there a way to power the blade welder with residential 220VAC current? Thanks!

There shouldn't be a problem, just disconnect it from the three phase and run separate lines to the shop single phase. Even if it draws more than the breaker on that line, a small overload shouldn't be a problem because it is very short.

This is exactly what I did.
I have the motor running from the VFD and the welder running direct from the wall.
Mine was wired so the light ran off the same 220 line as the welder, so instead of hunting down 220 light bulbs I found a cheap 220 -> 110 transformer and wired that in for the light.
