I would like for members who have used a VFD and are satisified to provide me with a supplier. I understand that there are more than one type of a VFD which type is best? Many thanks for all your help.

John,

I like factorymation and Teco VFDs. I have 5 Teco VFDs.

Best VFD? That depends if you need high torque at low speeds. If you do, then the Teco 7300 sensorless vector drive looks really good. If a basic v/hz drive is all you need then the FM50 is a good choice.

I believe that I will but a VFd from "FACTORYMATION" . They priced a sensorless Teco to me for $170. that would work on my bridgeport mill. It was model CV 2001 H1. So unless someone has a negative comment next Monday I'll place an order. I perfer the older format for this forum.

I have bought two Teco VFD's from FactoryMation and have been very pleased with them. Their customer support is great also. If you have a question, they seem very happy to help you with it.

No affiliation with them, just a satisfied customer.
