I have everything ready to go (finally) in my RPC. I have a 1HP pony start motor that spins up a 30HP 3 phase motor that I'm using for my RPC. I haven't tried flipping the switch just yet because I'm not 100% sure I know which direction its going to go. Right now I have it ready to go CW if you are facing the shaft.
What happpens if I'm wrong? As far as circuit protection its under a 50 amp breaker (initially) in my home panel box and I also have some time delay fuses right before the motor starter. I have fuses ranging from 30 amps to 100 amps. Would these be enough to protect everything if it goes the wrong way or am I overthinking this?
