Looking at a VFD to run a Bridgeport, and a South bend lathe. Trying to decide between Teco, or GS2 Series Micro AC Drives from automation direct. Any thoughts?

You mean VFD's

Not really feasible to run 2 machines off of one VFD. Just reprogramming motor current each swap over, would be enough of a pain.

There have been plenty of posts here on VFD's for BP and SB. Nothing special is needed VFD wise..

Get a brand that has a warrenty, and wire it up..

Depending on your needs and hp of machines, 110 volt in 220 3 phase out VFD's might be easier to handle, (and plug in anywhere)

Remember to use an enclosure for VFD, and shielded control wiring. Use a fuse/breaker on VFD input, if branch circuit is not dedicated to VFD... and properly fused for VFD load.

Yes, plural. I have a dedicated 220 box for the garage, so they will be 220 single in. Would it still be a god idea to put a breaker in for each?
