Rotary Phase Converter parts avaliable at scrap prices

I'm moving and have a 7hp 1200rpm 3 phase motor that's going to scrap. I think it's about
300 lbs. If anyone wants it I'll take scrap price.

I don't think it's practical to try to ship so you would need to pickup withing the next
few weeks.

At 300lbs, the most sensible way to ship would probably be to strap it to a pallet and drop it off at a Fastenal store... shipping would probably be every bit as much, and more than the scrap price.

Last couple times I built RPCs for people I went to scrapyards and bought motors in the 1-15hp range for less than five bucks a piece. One of 'em, I tipped the guy helping me lift it into the truck for less than I paid for the motor... fortunately, he and I were strong, and old motors are usually very good motors.

Or... sell (or give, or ship) everything but the motor, because getting a motor is usually the easy part... The cabinet/caps/switches, etc. are probably UPS-able.

Motor is pretty likely to sell on CL. RPC guts fairly likely to sell/find a home on PM.

300 lbs for a 7 hp motor? Doubt it.
