OK, I have this FVD

And my electric guy installed it like this

The 220 single phase comes in the bottom right opening (black and white wire)and goes up to the input of the VFD and then the output of the VFD comes back down and connects to the gray looking connections in the bottom middle.
When I power the VFD on, I can start the spindle, but not adjust the speeds, and run the power feeds and the DRO powers on. The problem (other than the spindle speeds) is that when I stop the VFD it trips the circit in the box(the top left square) I know something is not wired right, but I'm not sure what.
Any ideas?
