Default Home Made RPC design- lost the thread

A few weeks ago I did a google search for home made RPC designs. I read one thread, and I think it was here on PM, in which the fellow went to excruciating detail on his RPC. One feature that stood out was that in order to make brackets for his capacitors he sawed up some pipe and individually welded brackets on to them. The RPC had start capacitors because the builder did not want to mess with a pull string or an auxiliary starter motor.

Is anybody familiar with this thread? If so, could you post a link to it. I wish I had bookmarked it at the time, but now I can't find it.

    Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the thread but making brackets for the Cap. is easy. You can buy them too. Or are you just interested in making a RPC started with a Cap? I've made them for many of my friends. I don't agree with using additional capacitors both run and compensating. Be sure you use a contactor to connect the motor to the line wired to drop out if you loose power. A mechanical switch will cause your RPC motor to burn up and your other motors too if they are connected with a Mechanical switch when Power is returned after a power loss! You risk the chance of Fire too!
