    Default Running a 208 V 3Ph motor with a 240V supply- Bad idea?

    I have a .75 motor that has 208V/60hz on the nameplate. Will it work OK with a 240V VFD or will bad things happen?

    Tell the VFD the motor is 208 volts.

    Read the manual.
