I just bought a Bostitch F21PL since it comes with two tips, one of which has the capability to nail metal fasteners like joist hangers. The gun specs say to use 21 deg. plastic collated framing nails or 23 degree plastic coated joist hanger nails.
Can I use paper collated nails instead of plastic?
I'm also wondering if I can use 21 deg. joist hanger nails, they seem to be more readily available.
